Coronavirus (COVID-19) Measures

Boom uitgevers Den Haag – Coronavirus (COVID-19) Measures
latest update: 8 June 2020, 13:10

Boom uitgevers Den Haag publishers is fully cooperating with the measures set to combat the Coronavirus/COVID-19. We strictly adhere to the protocols of the Dutch government and the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, RIVM. To safeguard the health and safety of our employees, we will as much as possible be working from the safety of our homes until further notice. Appointments will be taking place virtually. Our availability by telephone is limited. We therefore urge you to contact us by email via klantenservice@boomdenhaag.nl. You will find the employees’ email addresses on this website.

Books and e-books
The delivery of our printed books remains unchanged. This applies to all orders placed through our website and other (online) bookstores. Stock is largely available in our Dutch warehouse, and we will continue to reprint and publish if necessary. Our distributors are temporarily busier due to circumstances relating to the COVID19 crisis. Please note that your delivery may therefore take longer to arrive. Our apologies for the inconvenience, and thank you in advance for your patience. Please note that international deliveries may also be delayed or suspended at a moment’s notice. Adoption copies can still be requested. If you apply for a digital copy online, you will immediately receive the e-book for assessment, eliminating dependency on delivery times and timeslots.

Performance digital applications
Many of our customers are working from home, which leads to an increase in the use of our online platforms and websites. We are therefore taking all (precautionary) measures to be able to continue to offer you the best possible connection and accessibility. If at any time you notice a malfunction on any of our platforms, please do notify our sales department directly via sales@boomdenhaag.nl.

Access to digital academic content
Since the beginning of the 21st century Boom uitgevers Den Haag has started investing in digital content. This means that all our academic publications (i.e. journal articles and books) are too available online. Every scholar or professional working in our core areas (i.e. law, public administration and criminology) can consult our online content provided he/she has a license to do so.

If new developments may change the abovementioned services, we will, of course, inform you immediately.
