Dirma Janse studied graphic design at the Dutch Academy of Arts & Design Zwolle (ArtEZ). Driven by an innate interest in science, she is a visualizer of complex scientific information. Throughout her career she has created many charts, infographics and illustrations for newspapers like NRC and institutions like Erasmus University Rotterdam and Delft University of Technology.
Since 2019 she teaches a master course on science visualization – called Science Vision – at Delft University of Technology, in collaboration with designers Joost Bakker, Martijn van Overbruggen and associate professor Maarten van der Sanden.
